Digital Scholarship: How Digital Tools are Reshaping Academic Work

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

For centuries, one of the main goals of universities has been the production of new knowledge; the impact of digital tools on this original knowledge economy has been profound. The presenters will discuss the workflow of scholarship: find, store, organize, annotate, cite, archive, reflect, and share. Tools have developed in each of these areas that have affected not just how scholars do their work, but what is considered scholarly work at all. The presenters will discuss both the power and pitfalls of specific tools that have emerged to support scholarly work.
